		<description>

We once again teamed up with our good friends at Filmtime Media Group (www.filmtime.com.au) to create a general brand video for the 370 degrees group, the people behind NECA apprenticeships (see NECA Apprenticeships video on this site.)

We were faced with the challenge of including a lot of information in a relatively short video, so we opted for a very simple and highly effective animation style.

The result is that Filmtime have been asked to create two more videos for NECA's interstate branches.

Enjoy!

We produced this internal hype video for MLC on behalf of Onion Communications.

The brief - create a visually engaging video to help usher in a new era for MLC and their sales team.

We used a combination of 3D animation and (green screened) live action footage that was composited into the finished product. Add in a great sound design and catchy soundtrack and off we go.

This 45 min DVD explores the self-directed approach (SDA), a new philosophy created by the Department of Human Services. In 3 parts, it looks at the SDA from the point of view of organisations, service providers and families.

We combined extensive interviews, animation and compelling stories of 3 people living with disabilities. This project was 12 months in the making and a real life changer for everyone at storylab.

Here you will find one section of the DVD. If you'd like to see more, visit:

The self-directed approach is a new philosophy about people with disabilities being able to make decisions about how their own lives.

We made this 30 second cinema ad to help promote a larger project called
'Whose Life Is It Anyway?', a full length DVD about the self-directed approach. You can watch a portion of it on this site.

With a clear, simple message, we focused on the reveal of Sylvia, our star to help people realise that a disability isn't a hindrance, but an opportunity to live a rich, engaged life like anyone else.

We were asked by Filmtime Media Group (www.filmtime.com.au) to create a showstopping, lead generation and sales video for their client the 370 degrees group, a leader in supplying electrical apprentices to the industry. Their division, NECA Apprenticeships was due for a refresh and they wanted to really stand out from the competition.

We wanted to showcase the client's technical expertise, so created a high-tech cyberspace environment for the audience to fly through. With some amazing motion graphics and real time footage, we were able to realise their vision and place them on the cutting edge of the market.

Future Fashion Now was a sutainable fashion event held in St Kilda, Melbourne. Showcasing work from a range of up and coming local and interstate designers as well as holding a number of sustainability workshops, this event was a hit with the local community.

storylab made this ad to help promote the event. We used a combination of stop motion and light leak effects (from Crumplepop's Lumineux plug-in.)

Enjoy!

PS - here's a fun little timelapse of how the set up we used to make the ad.

storylab in conjunction with Filmtime Media Group, Arterium Creations and Matthew Cleaves, created an ad for the Kids Helpline workplace giving program.

The story is based on a character named Kelly who is trying to get through to Kids Helpline, but due to lack of funding, her call remains unanswered.

Special thanks to the cast and crew who donated their time to make the ad.

Fashion designer Meg Kolac asked storylab to create a fun, quirky video for her 2010 collection. With some photos, text and the title "Lime is no Lemon" we set to work.

Shot at the RMIT First Site Gallery with our trusty Canon 550D, we used the beautiful space with its nooks and crannies, to create a world within a world. Based on the scribbles and daydreams of Meg, we had the character explore her subconscious and discover versions of herself.

Special thanks to Andrei and Melissa at RMIT for lending us the space.
